Program Description & Structure

Launched by the Commerce Discipline, School of Management Studies, IGNOU (w.e.f. July 2023), this flagship Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program is designed as per requirements for young aspiring students wanting to pursue a bright career in corporate and business sectors. It provides broad-based, multidisciplinary, and skill-oriented knowledge covering commerce, retailing, business operations, and core management themes.

The curriculum features a comprehensive **120 credits** structural framework classified into Core Courses in IGNOU, Ability Enhancement Courses (AECs), Skill Enhancement Courses (SECs), Multidisciplinary Courses, and Value Addition Courses. It provides an elite blend of administrative learning along with English and Hindi literature options  of both to boost corporate communication skills.

NEP 2020 Multi-Exit Options:

  • Completion of 2nd Semester: Certificate in Business Administration
  • Completion of 4th Semester: Diploma in Business Administration

स्कूल ऑफ मैनेजमेंट स्टडीज (वाणिज्य अनुशासन), इग्नू द्वारा जुलाई 2023 से शुरू किया गया यह प्रमुख बैचलर ऑफ बिजनेस एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन (BBA) कार्यक्रम उन युवा छात्रों के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है जो कॉर्पोरेट और व्यावसायिक क्षेत्रों में एक उज्ज्वल करियर बनाना चाहते हैं। यह वाणिज्य, खुदरा व्यापार (Retailing), व्यावसायिक संचालन और मुख्य प्रबंधन विषयों को कवर करने वाला कौशल-उन्मुख ज्ञान प्रदान करता है।

यह पूरा पाठ्यक्रम **120 क्रेडिट** की संरचना पर आधारित है जिसे कोर कोर्स, एबिलिटी एनहांसमेंट कोर्स (AEC), स्किल एनहांसमेंट कोर्स (SEC), मल्टीडिसिप्लिनरी कोर्स और वैल्यू एडिशन कोर्स में वर्गीकृत किया गया है। कॉर्पोरेट संचार कौशल (Communication Skills) को बढ़ावा देने के लिए इसमें हिंदी और अंग्रेजी साहित्य के विकल्प भी शामिल हैं।

  • द्वितीय सेमेस्टर पूरा होने पर: सर्टिफिकेट इन बिजनेस एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन
  • चतुर्थ सेमेस्टर पूरा होने पर: डिप्लोमा इन बिजनेस एडमिनिस्ट्रेशन
  • छठा सेमेस्टर पूरा होने पर: पूर्ण बीबीए (BBA) डिग्री की उपाधि
